Getting Ready for Thanksgiving with me!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner! Thanksgiving is a time to share with family and friends. At our house we tend to keep it simple. Our family likes to make one giant salad, rice, beans, turkey, ham and some potato salad. Everyone cooks and we each bring a plate. I like to make the salad. This salad is very easy to make. I also like to add some chia seeds over my salad.

My special Salad Dressing:

-2 tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar

-1/3 cup of olive oil

Mix together and sprinkle over your salad and enjoy! 

The Second Salad:

2 Cups chopped lettuce

1/2 Can of Heart of Palms

1/2 cup of Roma Tomatoes

1/2 Onion

1 stick of mozzarella cheese

Mix your salad together.

The Blue Dress that I wore

Yesterday, I attended the Shopstyle Collective event with Popsugar. It was really cool meeting all these fashion bloggers. I wore this blue dress that I bought a couple days ago. I really like the fabric of this dress, its very light. You can wear this dress with ridding boots, pumps, or heels like I am wearing here. I also like to wear this dress with a leather jacket over it for when it's cold outside.

This weekend I had another event to attend and I wanted something a little glam. This outfit is really a combination of two different pieces put together. I added a top over a dress. You can definitely get any black dress and layer it. You can layer it with a sparkly top or silver top. This look would be great for the holidays. The Geometric Print Dress

 I really like the thickness of the fabric and the color of this coat. Which goes nicely with my outfit. When wearing an outfit like this I like to keep it simple without adding to much accessories. The only jewelry that I wore was a gold color watch with a gold colored bracelet. In this case less is more.

Need a jacket to wear this upcoming winter season? No worries, I got you covered. Today, I rounded up my top 5 picks for you all. The first jacket is more formal, you can wear this jacket to a dinner party or cocktail party. The second jacket can be worn everyday. This jacket is more casual than the first one. You  can definitely were the second jacket with a more casual outfit. The third jacket is a military style jacket. Which is also a little more casual than my first pick, but works with almost anything. Especially with black, grey, navy blue  and other darker colors.  The fourth jacket is more formal. The Holiday season is coming quickly !!

This Holiday season is quickly approaching us! Are you ready ? You probably already have a schedule full of parties and other social events this holiday season.

 I have put together a couple outfits that you can wear to those holiday parties and social events coming up. Yes, you can mix and match all these pieces. You can also wear some of these pieces like this dress (see below) during other days of the year.

This first outfit is perfect for a gala or a cocktail party. This outfit is also perfect to wear during Christmas. Red with black are two colors that go perfectly together. Especially for the holidays.

The Second look is a little bit more casual but chic. This look works for an older women. If you have a less formal event to attend  then I would suggest wearing a denim jacket with a skirt or something similar to this look.

The third outfit is more fit for a more formal event. This outfit suits any age group from the early 20s to late 60s. The gold color of this skirt is what makes this outfit stand out. Gold is a color that you will see a lot during the holidays.

Casual for Friday

Friday is a nice day to wear something a little more casual. This outfit that I am wearing is basically a pair of leggings with a long-sleeve top, a short-sleeve jacket and a pair of booties. The nice part of a short-sleeve jacket is that you layer it over your tops or dresses. These shoes are great for fall and the spring weather. I added some similar styles for you to shop below.
